Well we're mostly settled in and enjoying our new home. Here are the pictures I promised of our new abode.

We moved into the new house this weekend, we managed to load up and
unload in just a few hours. We'll be unpacking for at least a
week to get everything situated to where we want it.
Thanks to my dad, mom, Bobby, Dan, Tony, Jason, Lynn, and Josh for helping us move.
Once we get everything situated we'll post a few pictures of the interior of our new house :)

This weekend was one of the very few that we got to spend at
home. We went on a short hike (2.5 miles) and a underground river
boat ride. It was all pretty fun.

This weekend kicked off the traditional making of the wedding
mints. The mints were done in wedding colors, periwinkle, pale
yellow, and white. There were hearts, miniature brides and
grooms, and the letter "M".

This weekend we went and tried out the food that's going to be served
at our reception. All of the selections were amazing. We
chose to go with the pork tenderloin, and the asian sesame chicken for
our meats. Vegetable medley and green bean almandine for our
vegetables. A garden salad and a fruit salad for our
salads. Finally, we went with garlic potatoes and rice pilaf for
our starches. While we were here I decided to take some shots of
the reception area to post, so here they are.

We had our walk through on our house this past wednesday. We had
the opportunity to pick out all the things we would like to have fixed,
and over the next 9 days Capitol Homes will be doing their best to make
us happy. Here are some pictures of the house.

So this past weekend we had our final wedding counseling session with
the pastor at United Methodist. Each of us had to complete a
worksheet and then talk to the pastor for an hour seperate. Our
sessions went really well, with our pastor even remarking "you two
communicate amazingly well." He didn't tell either of us to run
for the hills, so I guess we'll still go through with this thing :)
We also dropped by Mike and Debbie's for Grandma Sitzman's
birthday. Well it was kind of accident that we were there, but we
made it!

This weekend we went by the house to check out the progress they have
made over the last week. We're definitely ready for them to be
done so that we can move in.
We also spent the last couple days with my brother. He is on his way back to Kansas now.
