Derek and I celebrated our first anniversary on Sunday.  It has been a wonderful and amazing year and I expect the year ahead will be the same.  I can't believe how fast it went. 

This part of our website is now completed so no new updates will be on this page.  We will be starting a new one soon so our friends and family can continue to keep up with us.  Of course you can always pay this page a visit.

On Saturday we went to family picnic with Derek's co-workers and their families.  There was a bouncy tent for the kids along with a swimming pool and even a water balloon fight.  We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and everyone brought a covered dish.  Although it was quite a warm day, we all had a nice time watching the kids play and socializing.

Over the weekend we went to Evansville for the Memorial Day holiday.  Mom and Dad came from West Virginia and they brought Bobby and Brooke with them. 

We went on a boat ride on Bobby and Darlene's new boat.  Bobby even let Brooke drive.

Then we went to Mike and Debbie's to hang out at the pool.  I gave Dad his Father's Day gift while we were there.

It was a very nice weekend and we all had a good time.  Here are a few pictures.

We finally sold the Honda and bought a 2004 Saturn Vue.  Derek and I thought that with a baby on the way a bigger car might come in handy.  Here are some pics.

Derek and I had our first baby doctor appointment.  The baby is healthy and growing, upto 3 inches already.  Here is a picture of our ultrasound. 

Over the next few weeks we will be adding a baby journal page to our site so friends and family can monitor our progress.

Joe and Lisa Hardesty welcomed their new baby boy, Elijah, on Thursday, April 12th, 2007.  He was 8lbs 2oz and 21 1/2 inches long.

This past weekend I went to visit mom in West Virginia.  Her childhood friend, Mona, made the trip with me.  Mom went to get Brooke and we had a "girls" weekend.  The weather didn't cooperate very well but we had a good time anyway.  Here are a few pics of Brooke being silly.

Sunday we had Tom, Lois, Karon and Josh over for Derek's birthday.  I cooked supper and then had a wonderful Ritter's Custurd Pie.  YUM!
